Yesterday, Sony announced a Limited Edition PS4 Pro which was designed in close collaboration with Santa Monica Studio, bringing to life Kratos’ Leviathan Axe. It includes a fully customized PS4 Pro console, a Leviathan Gray DUALSHOCK 4 controller with insignia, God of War game on Blu-Ray disc, and deluxe digital content. The Limited Edition bundle sets you back $399.99 USD / £379.99 GBP.

It’s official. Sony has announced that God of War hit the shelves on April 20, 2018. But wait, there’s more! Depending on which part of the World you live in, there will be several Limited and Collector’s Editions available for purchase.
God of War Limited Edition
The Limited Edition of God of War comes in a cardboard artbox and includes the following:

In the UK the Limited Edition is sold exclusively at GAME UK* for £69.99 GBP. This Edition is only available in Europe.

The God of War Collector’s Edition will be available worldwide for £119.99 GBP / $129.99 USD. Besides a few odds and ends the Edition is very similar to the Stone Mason Edition which is only available in the US and Canada. Here’s what’s included:

God of War Digital Deluxe Edition
Can’t wait to slay some monsters right at midnight? Well, Sony didn’t forget about you. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the game as well as the digital Artbook and Comic Issue #0 by Dark Horse. Furthermore, you’ll get the Death’s Vow Armor Set, the Exile’s Guardian Shield and (surprise) the Dynamic Theme.

God of War has come a long way over the past 10 years, and here we are, all waiting for the highly anticipated release of the newest installment in the God of War franchise. I don’t know about you, but it feels like ages since the game got officially announced back at E3 2016. But here’s hoping things will move soon.
God of War is the eighth game in the main series and takes place many years after the events of the original games. The new installment will be based on Norse mythology instead of Greek mythology. Kratos now lives with his son Atreus in the world of Norse gods and you can even team up with your son to perform combination attacks and stun enemies or stab them at the right moment.
There really is a lot to be hyped about and to get even more excited, GameStop has started to take pre-orders for a Collector’s Edition of the game.
